SYSTEM SPEED DIALS
Create a list of speed dials starting at 500 before you begin, eg.;
500 Home 9999 9999
501 Mobile 0412 999 999
etc., etc.,.
Before entering system speed dials you must enter Admin programming mode first. Once you are in Admin programming mode you can enter System Speed dials, if you do not press any buttons for around four minutes the system turns off Admin programming mode. If this happens you will need to enter Admin Mode once again.
TO ENTER ADMIN PROGRAMMING
– Press TRANSFER 2 0 0 then enter 1 2 3 4 1 and TRANSFER again
TO ENTER THE SPEED DIAL NUMBERS
1. Press TRANSFER then 7 0 5
2. Enter the speed dial location you wish to program eg; 500
3. Enter the phone number you wish to store, but with a leading zero (this zero accesses the outside line)
eg.; If I wanted to enter 44233477 I would need to type 0-44233477
4. Press the Right soft key; the cursor will go back to the Speed Dial location Number again
5. Enter the next speed dial location and its number, or;
6. If you are finished entering speed dials press the TRANSFER button and the phone will go back to idle.
* The Soft Keys are the three buttons just under the display on the keyset, the Right Soft Key is (you guessed it!) the right one. 🙂
**To delete an entry press the “Hold” button when the cursor is in that field.
TO ENTER THE SPEED DIAL NAMES
Once the numbers are entered into the system you may want to program the names in.
1. Press TRANSFER then 7 0 6
2. Enter the speed dial location you wish to program eg;500
3. Enter the name that corresponds to that speed dial (similar to a mobile phone, see note)
4. Press the Right soft key, the cursor will go back to the Speed Dial location Number again
5. Enter the next speed dial location and its name, or;
6. If you are finished entering speed dial names press the TRANSFER button and the phone will go back to idle.
TO PROGRAM THE SPEED DIALS INTO BUTTONS
Before trying to program the buttons you may need to disable Admin Programming so as not to inadvertently program the wrong keyset.
1. Press TRANSFER then 2 0 0 0
2. Press TRANSFER
1. Press TRANSFER then 1 0 7
2. Press the button you wish to store a speed dial in
3. Enter the Speed dial location you want
4. Press TRANSFER
NB: The button must already be programmed to accept a speed dial (this is usually done at installation) when you press the button in step 2 above it should read similar to this:

RETREIVING SPEED DIALS
There are two methods of using speed dials via a Directory or Using a numbered list;
DIRECTORY
1. Press the DIRECTORY key
2. Now enter the letter you want to search from
eg to search for the letter B press the 2 key twice (similar to mobile phone entries)
3. Then use the volume up and down keys to search through the entries
4. When you have found the entry you want press the DIAL key (left softkey)
NUMBERED LIST
When the speed dials are entered into the system a list of numbered entries are used, this list should be distributed to everyone.
1. Press the SPEED DIAL key
2. Then enter the number of the speed dial you wish to dial, the system will then dial that number
Note: Entering Names
Entering names is similar to most mobile phones, however with a few small differences;
– when entering a double letter, you need to manually advance the cursor by pressing the volume up key
– when entering a space; press volume up twice
